Was a Professor Emeritus with the Maricopa Community Colleges in Arizona. Raised in Prescott, he is the fourth generation of a pioneer family that arrived in 1893.  He served as member of the Board of Directors for the Prescott Historical Society and on the Board of Directors at Sharlot Hall.
