Giving Tuesday
Phippen Museum Celebrates GivingTuesday, Joining Millions Around the World in a Global Generosity Movement on December 3, 2024
This Giving Tuesday, the Phippen Museum will inspire generosity by inviting supporters to help preserve and promote the art and culture of the American West. The museum’s campaign focuses on raising funds to enhance its educational programs, bring captivating exhibits to the community, and support local artists.
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. This December 3, 2024, GivingTuesday kicks off the generosity season by inspiring people to give back and support the causes they love.
This year, the museum’s goal is to raise $5000 to expand access to hands-on workshops, educational tours, and unique exhibits that bring the West to life for visitors of all ages.
GivingTuesday began in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eleven years, it has grown into a global movement inspiring hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Generosity is expressed in many ways on GivingTuesday—from supporting nonprofit causes to helping neighbors or sharing a message of kindness on social media. Each act of giving contributes to a world filled with more empathy, community, and generosity.
